1. FLAT BODY, OVAL BODY GATE VALVES
Main applications:
Transport and distribution plants:
- cold and hot industrial water;
- saturated vapours;
- petroleum products,
on condition that the suitability regarding the corrosion, erosion and safety in work related to the materials used for these valves to be assured.

Tmax/Tmin: 80°C/-10°C – for NBR type rubber;
          120°C/-10°C – for EPDM type rubber;
          150°C/-10°C – for asbestos free gaskets.

Factory tests; test pressure; leakage:
- hydraulic tests – in conformity with ISO 5208

2.CAST IRON RESILIENT SEATED GATE VALVES

Main application:
Mounting on hot or cold water transport pipelines from urban supplying and distribution systems, irrigation, pumping stations and other plants with low corrosive fluids suitable to the materials contacting.
Special applications:
- basic or acid working fluids suitable to the material of the internal coating of body, bonnet and disc.

Design and dimensional characteristics:
The design of the resilient seated gate valve is one of the most modern worldwide technical solution and meets all the requirements of valves intended for drinking water or industrial supplying and distribution systems.
The resilient seated gate valve meets the requirements of ISO 5996, BS 5163 and DIN 3352/4 standards.
Body and bonnet
Manufactured in ductile iron, they are both internally and externally corrosion protected with epoxy powders meeting GSK requirements. Body-bonnet fixing is performed with low-head screws in stainless steel A2-70 supplementary paraffined.
Disc
Manufactured in ductile iron, is coated with a curred rubber layer and is provided with draining plug. The disc slides into the body, the sealing being realized through a special continous profile providing wear resistance and total interchangeability. The sealing curve between body and disc assures a profile without cavities preventing from foreign particles or deposits accumulation, assuring an easy pipe cleaning by specific means, sealing performed being perfect in both flow directions.
Driving stem
Is manufactured in stainless steel, both 20Cr130 and 18.10. The pair of stem-nut materials provide a low friction leading to low driving torque and high wear resistance.
Gland body
Is manufactured in ductile iron, protected against corrosion as the body and bonnet, bolted in the bonnet with stainless steel bolts. The sealing bush is provided with O-rings, fixed into the gland body, assuring valve operation without adjusting the stem upper packing.

Connecting flanges
The following designs are available:
- with cast-on flanges;
- with adjustable flanges.
Both variants allow connection to cast iron or steel flanges DIN 2533 PN 16, DIN 2532 PN 10 or DIN 28605 PN 16 for ductile iron flanges. At customer’s request, the valve may be supplied with “Flanged joint” for PEHD pipe connection.
Overall lengths are in conformity with ISO 5752 standards, series S14 (short), S15 (long), respectively DIN 3202 F4 and F5.

Operation
AM – manual operation: - with handwheel
       - driving head for underground mounting

AP – pneumatic operation (upon special request)

- hydraulic tests – in conformity with ISO 5208
- test pressure: shell test – 1.5xPN (bar)
    seat test – 1.1xPN (bar)
- without leakage – in conformity with ISO 5208, grade A.
