Main applications:
Transport and distribution of:
- cold and hot industrial water;
- saturated vapours;
- petroleum products;
on condition that the compatibility regarding the corrosion, erosion and safety in work in relation to the design and materials used to be ensured.

Design and working characteristics:
- CD – straight flanged body;
- CC – angle flanged body;
- CCF – straight flangeless body.
- Overall length: - in conformity with ISO; BS; DIN; ANSI (shown in the technical sheets)
- Connecting flanges: - in conformity with ISO; BS; DIN; ANSI (shown in the technical sheets)
- Maximum liquid flow speed: - 2.5 m/s – for PN 6;
     -  3 m/s – for PN 10;
     -  4 m/s – for PN 16.
Working temperature: Tmax/Tmin 
- for rubber seats: - NBR type 80°C/-10°C
         - EPDM type 120°C/-10°C
- for asbestos free sheet gasket (in conformity with the technical sheet): 300°C (400°C) Mounting:
- flow direction marked with arrow on body;
- mounting position in conformity with the technical sheet recommendation.
Manufacturer tests, test pressure, leakage:
- hydraulic tests in conformity with ISO 5208 (API 598);
- shell test pressure (bar): 1.5xPN
- seat test pressure (bar): 1.1xPN (PN – nominal pressure).
Maximum allowed leakage at disc seat test:
- standard execution – grade D in conformity with ISO 5208;
- special execution – grade B in conformity with ISO 5208.
